Silver Award application and drive meaningful organizational improvement. This session will walk you through each section of the Silver Award processes and results sections, explain its purpose, and offer practical guidance on how to reflect and articulate your organization’s unique story. Attendees will explore real examples, discuss common pitfalls, and leave with tools to begin—or refine—their own application with clarity and confidence. Besides gaining a better understanding of what examiners are looking for and how to use the award criteria as an improvement tool, you will explore how to use the award process to focus, align, and accelerate your performance excellence efforts thus becoming a high-performing organization.
Learner Objectives:
- Review the Silver technical requirements, criteria, and scoring guidelines.
- Describe approaches and processes in response to the criteria questions.
- Illustrate how to effectively present results that align with your organizations processes.
- Receive help with your specific Silver application questions.
- Complete the framework for the Silver Quality Award application for your community
- Explore tips and best practices for writing a strong and accurate application
- Review crucial deadlines, pivotal dates, and resources tailored to enhance applicant support.
Before the Workshop:
- Review your Bronze application and have a copy with you
- Review the eligibility requirements in the 2026 Silver Criteria and Application document to ensure you are eligible to apply
- Have a copy of the 2026 Silver Achievement in Quality Award Application & Criteria
Participants must:
- Be a current Bronze Quality Award holder, planning to apply for the Silver Quality Award
- Bring a laptop, tablet, or other device to aide in completing the application process
